Women were represented as weaker then men they had no power to say anything other then doing house work . They mostly relied on their husbands to support them they would get paid les then men because people thought that they were gonna use the money on themselves and not provide to their family .

That getting this product make your washing brighter then ever and you cant find a better product then theirs . But also relates how England was not diverse .

The makeup is nice and its not messy at all saying that women should always look presentable . The costume is a rolled up sleeve saying women should work hard at home and only focus on that . She looks happy doing the work the advert is saying that they should get back to homework after the WW2 after they had other jobs and now the war is over its good to go back to a housewife

The advert is for a washing powder and they are saying its a great powder and the women will love it .
