They use their multi platforms to give audience their content and they can listen to it whenever and anywhere they want.
4) Now look at the other side of page 5. What content do KISS Fresh and KISSTORY offer and how can audiences access those stations?
KISS FRESH : is where new and exclusive tracks play you can access this on their KISS APP.
KISSTORY : this is where old tracks play and you can access this on their app aswell.
5) Read page 6. What are the different ways audiences can actively engage with the KISS radio brand?
They have the app , the live events , the radio and online

They are active because of the many things the radio gives them to interact with

Personal relationships with the DJ because they get to know more about their friendship and about them.

The numbers have decreased because less people listen to radio.
9) How does the KISS FM Breakfast show contrast with Tony Blackburn's 1967 Radio 1 Breakfast show and the launch of BBC Radio 1?
Because they both put out popular music and look for more younger audience
10) Use Stuart Hall's Reception theory to offer a preferred and oppositional reading of the KISS FM Breakfast show. For the preferred reading, why do fans love the show? On the oppositional side, why might someone criticise the show or not want to listen?
For preferred people will like it because if you are a older fan of radio you are more likely to listen to radio
For oppositional I think more younger listeners will criticise it the most because they might not like the way they do the radio or the music

At first it was a Pirate radio station and it launched in October 1985

The brands are mostly something related to radio.
3) How does KISS FM make money?
Through sponsorship and advertising
4) How many listeners does the KISS Breakfast show have and how has this changed in recent years?
It has increased it went up to 80,000 but they have lost a lot of fans about a quarter of a million.
5) How is KISS FM regulated and what can happen if they break the rules?
It is regulated by ofcom and if they don’t follow the rules they will get fined.
