Real statement of Intent

My song for my music video is Tal Vez by Gabriela Bee. In the video there will be a girl struggling with her mental health but then her friends fix everything and she’s happy again. My video will have the message to improve the community by looking out for people and don’t be rude because you never know what they are going through.

In this video I will be using different camera shots like close ups to make it intimidate, I will also use wide shots when this girl is with friends, also over the shoulder and lastly a medium shot to just focus on someone when they are talking. The elements of Mise-en-scene I will use, include lighting, costume, setting. For lighting its will dark and gloomy at the start to match the persons sadness and at the end it will be sunny and giving very joyful vibe to show the persons change in her life and emotions and show how happy she is now. For costume it will be normal teen clothes to show that not only grown up have struggles, but the younger generation does too. Lastly for setting it’ll be a house, parks, shopping malls. For editing I will use it to make the lighting even better and have the vibe of gloomy and joyful.

My video will represent different races to make it as inclusive as possible, there will be young teenagers and mostly girls.
