-Because they provide entertainment for the audiences.

-Entertainment/Diversion: The newspaper provides gossip and soft news which entertains the audiences and it distracts them from their own lives.

Because the younger generation uses their phones then buying a physical copy

It was Alison Phillips. The partygate scandal was a political scandal where the Conservative Party were having a gathering while Covid 19.

Over 3 million papers.
